Teaching
Research
Development and application of adaptive lens and photonic devices. The research focuses on the development of adaptive liquid crystal/liquid lens for cell phones, 3D displays, and biomedical imaging, a polarization independent lens with a large optical power, nano-scale liquid crystal devices for bio-inspired optics, and dynamic foveated imaging to mimic human vision.
